Accommodations
Upper Level
The upper level has a large Master suite with CalKing bed, TV with DVD player, ante room with a twin bed, large Master bath with a tub/shower and double vanity, plus a separate water closet with shower and vanity, and large closets. This room is ideal for a family with a baby, toddler or young child, as the child can sleep adjacent to the parents' room in the twin bed or in a porta-crib.
The upper level also has a second bedroom with Queen bed, as well as a hall bathroom with tub/shower and double vanity.
Main Level
The main level has a fully-equipped kitchen with breakfast nook; large dining area; living area with sofa, recliner and TV with DVD player; a bedroom; half-bath; and laundry closet with full-size washer and dryer. The main floor bedroom has a fantastic bunk bed with twin upper bunk, double lower bunk, and a hideaway trundle bed, and a TV with VCR - great for the kids who want that "bunkhouse" feel!
Lower level
The lower level has a family room/recreation room with a Queen sleeper sofa, armchairs, large TV, Nintendo Game Cube and games, foosball table, and "nerf" basketball hoop. There is also a bedroom with a King bed, as well as a full bath with tub/shower.

Outdoor Spaces & Activities
Outdoor living spaces include a generous sun/dining deck overlooking the lake, lakeside lawn seating beneath the tree canopy, private deck off the master bedroom for sipping coffee as the morning fog lifts off the water, and a hammock perfect for napping. At the water, there is a private boathouse and dock, fully equipped with a bar, as well as a patio table and chairs for sunning, watching the water activity, or enjoying cocktail hour!
Blue Heron is a great place to enjoy boating, fishing, swimming and other lake activities. Holly Grove Marina (434.636.3455), less than 5 minutes away, offers a convenience store, lakeside gas pumps, and fishing bait. Poplar Creek Marina (434.636.2175), less than 15 minutes away, offers boat rentals (pontoon and ski boats) and lakeside gas pumps. Fishermen love Great Creek - and in particular, Blue Heron's cove - don't be surprised to see a bass fisherman quietly trolling off your dock by 6 a.m.!
